About the role

If you are passionate about electrical solutions design, this is your place. At Mondragon Assembly you will have the opportunity to join the technical team carrying out the following functions:

What you'll do

Work within a multidisciplinary team as the person in charge of coordinating the electrical and pneumatic installation of all projects, ensuring quality, costs and deadlines of the projects.

Machine design:

Assist the electrical design team during machine design

Collaborate with the electrical design manager in calculating the cost of the electrical cabinet, as well as estimating the hours needed to carry out said cabinet installation and machine installation.

Prepare the installation area: workbenches, material racks

Review electrical schematics to ensure they are complete and error-free

Meeting with the machine installation team (along with the electrical design manager) to convey all relevant project information (included in the installation folder):

Guidelines for cable routing

Review and organize materials delivered by the warehouse to ensure all materials are present before installation begins. Follow up on missing items

Collaborate and communicate with the assembly team to coordinate both tasks in parallel.

Periodic and continuous monitoring of the installation to correct any errors as soon as possible

Validate the electrical installation using the checklist. Communicate this validation to the purchasing manager

Define, together with the purchasing team and electrical design managers, the standard installation elements: cables, extensions, terminals, buttons, etc.

Collaborate with the purchasing team in selecting priority installation suppliers, assessing the level of each one

Install machines for testing

Coordinate subcontractors to install machines to their corresponding cabinet according to project documentation.

Coordinate subcontractors and/or electrical technicians to connect machines according to documentation.

Testing and commissioning:

Carry out tests and mechanical adjustments on machines at our facilities and at the customer's site.

Carry out installation at the customer's site

Manage and solve problems that may arise during commissioning at the customer's site.

Documentation:

Keep updated lists of pending items, recording the scheduled dates of pending tasks, material delivery, etc.

Fill out checklists

Make improvement proposals when appropriate
