Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience and technical knowledge in industrial auxiliary facilities.
Experience in industrial project management, including the planning, coordination, and supervision of facilities, equipment, and technical works in production environments.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial engineering and maintenance, preferably in production environments.
Experience in using AutoCAD 2D, with the ability to interpret, review, and validate technical drawings and designs of industrial facilities.
Advanced level of English and Spanish, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate fluently in professional and international environments.

The role

The mission of the position will be to guarantee the correct planning, execution, and supervision of engineering and maintenance projects for production facilities, ensuring operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and the proper functioning of industrial infrastructures.

You will be responsible for coordinating the planning, contracting, supervision, and commissioning of facilities, and infrastructure improvement projects for production in an industrial environment with manufacturing and transformation processes.

Likewise, you will provide technical support to maintenance managers, manage the relationship with strategic suppliers of machinery and industrial services, supervise preventive and corrective maintenance plans, and drive the technical training and development of the maintenance teams.

What you'll do

Supervise and validate CAD technical drawings and designs for new production plants and expansions of existing facilities, ensuring their adequacy to technical and operational requirements.
Coordinate the management of construction permits and licenses in collaboration with the corresponding bodies and agencies.
Participate in the design and sizing of auxiliary facilities, including refrigeration, compressed air, and electrical supply and distribution systems.
Coordinate the design and implementation of internal material transport systems and production process automation solutions.
Manage the contracting and negotiation with suppliers of equipment, facilities, and technical services.
Coordinate and supervise the installation and execution works on-site, guaranteeing compliance with established technical requirements.
Supervise the receipt and acceptance of facilities, ensuring their correct handover to the plant and maintenance managers.
Prepare basic technical documentation and initial maintenance plans, providing training to the managers.

Supervision and technical support for production plants

Manage and supervise maintenance contracts and technical services associated with auxiliary facilities and industrial equipment.
Keep the CAD drawings of the industrial facilities updated.
Supervise the state of conservation and functioning of the infrastructures, auxiliary facilities, and buildings.
Control the capacity and load of the electrical supply systems.
Monitor the maintenance and operating costs of the auxiliary facilities.
Train and advise maintenance managers.
Provide technical support regarding incidents related to infrastructures, facilities, and buildings.
Monitor and control the main maintenance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate and participate in industrial machinery refurbishment and modernization projects.
Prepare and manage investment requests (CAPEX) related to engineering, infrastructure, and maintenance projects.
Identify recurring incidents and propose technical solutions that contribute to improving equipment reliability and availability.
Promote, coordinate, and support the implementation of technical and operational improvements.

Management of energy and operational efficiency

Participate in energy audits and projects aimed at optimizing consumption in industrial facilities.
Identify and drive energy-saving opportunities through improvements in auxiliary systems, facilities, and production processes.
Implement tools for measuring, monitoring, and analyzing energy consumption.
Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives and certification processes related to energy management, such as ISO 50001.
Lead energy efficiency projects aimed at reducing operating costs and improving the sustainability of the facilities.
Manage and keep the technical and administrative documentation of the industrial facilities updated.
Guarantee the correct traceability of information regarding infrastructures, equipment, and projects through corporate management systems.
Supervise and analyze energy and maintenance costs, providing relevant information for decision-making.
Prepare project monitoring reports, investments, and operating indicators for regional management.
