Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in the purchasing area within companies in the metallurgical sector.
Vocational training (CFGM or CFGS) in mechanical project development, drafting, technical engineering in mechanical specialty, or similar.
Experience working with ERP programs. Experience with Business Central or SAP is valued.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical manufacturing.
Driver's license and own vehicle are essential.

Nice to have

Valuable intermediate English level.

The role

At Mur&Partners, we are offering a position as a Technical Purchasing Specialist for an industrial sector company located in Vallès Oriental.

Within the Purchasing Department, the person joining will be responsible for carrying out material purchasing operations, being in contact with other company departments to understand production needs, inventory status and validation, as well as with external suppliers to negotiate agreements and purchasing conditions.

What you'll do

Execution, monitoring, and closing of material and component orders with various suppliers.
Negotiation of agreements and purchasing conditions for materials with both existing and new suppliers.
Supervision of compliance with contract conditions and market analysis to evaluate suppliers, price trends, and possible opportunities for cost optimization and product quality improvement.
Internal communication with the Production and Warehouse Departments to understand stock status and material requests for manufacturing in order to perform purchasing needs calculations.
Contact with the Technical Office Department to take product specifications into account.
