IFRS 15 does not end when the standard is interpreted. The real challenge begins when you have to demonstrate that contracts, models, data, controls, and reporting tell exactly the same story.

We are looking for a person with solid experience in IFRS 15, revenue recognition, and financial reporting who wants to work on projects where accounting analysis requires going several levels beyond regulatory review.

You will join a specialized consulting environment in Finance, Risk & Compliance, participating in initiatives where it will be necessary to question methodologies, reconstruct financial traceability, and convert complex conclusions into concrete and defensible recommendations for Finance, Risk, Internal Control, and Audit.

Here you will have space to deepen your specialization, but also to broaden your vision: understanding how an accounting decision materializes in models, systems, data, controls, and finally in the financial statements.

Your focus will be on reviewing and strengthening revenue recognition processes under IFRS 15, including Deferred Income, contract liabilities, and revenue recognition over time.

We are not merely looking to identify if a policy complies with the standard. We seek to understand if the methodology can be sustained from start to finish: from the contract and the hypotheses used to the calculation, the data that feeds it, its controls, and the evidence available for audit.

• Review accounting policies, methodologies, and revenue recognition practices under IFRS 15, identifying risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze Deferred Income, contract liabilities, and revenue recognised over time, including input method / cost-to-cost methodologies.
• Evaluate complex contracts and structures, providing well-founded questioning of the main accounting judgements, assumptions, and criteria applied.
• Review financial models associated with accounting calculations, including cost allocation, profitability, and contract-level reconciliation methodologies.
• Analyze controls, reconciliations, audit trails, and source-to-report traceability, identifying accounting, methodological, or control gaps.
• Review the quality and lineage of financial data, as well as dependencies between systems, processes, and End-User Computing tools.
• Prepare accounting position papers, methodological documentation, and audit-ready evidence, transforming analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Lead working sessions and defend conclusions with stakeholders from Finance, Risk, Internal Control, and Audit, coordinating analysis and deliverables when necessary.
