What you'll get

🎁 Why join our project?

  • Autonomy and technical trust: You will work in a dynamic field environment that respects your professional judgment, surrounded by a highly specialized team that speaks your language, supports you, and celebrates technical rigor.

  • Optimistic schedule and work-life balance: You will work Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 18:00, but you will enjoy an intensive workday from 8:30 to 15:30 every Friday, all holiday eves, and all days in July and August. Additionally, December 24th and 31st are free for everyone, so you can disconnect when it matters most.

  • Technical and training projection: You will be part of a young, fresh, and rapidly growing company that bets on continuous training, where you can expand your certifications and specialize even further.

  • Tools to succeed: A role that is far from monotonous, combining engineering precision with the dynamism of field work, equipped with cutting-edge technology and an assigned company vehicle.

The role

Are you passionate about ensuring industrial safety and do you want your technical rigor in welding and inspection to have a real impact? 🦾💙
At OCA Global, our purpose is to make this world a safer and more sustainable place. From this strategic position in our Barcelona delegation, your work will not be limited to applying current regulations; you will be the direct guarantor of structural safety and technical excellence. Working both in the field and in the office, you will ensure that no detail is left to chance in our clients' manufacturing and certification processes.
🎯 Missions with purpose and impact

What you'll do

  • Advanced welding inspection: Supervise and approve welding procedures in workshops and facilities under international standards (ASME, EN, AD-2000), guaranteeing equipment integrity and strengthening your technical authority.

  • Execution and validation of NDT: Perform and certify Non-Destructive Testing (Ultrasound, Radiography, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particles, etc.), ensuring maximum material reliability while working with total autonomy.

  • Control under PED Directive: Manage manufacturing control and verify material traceability for Pressure Equipment, making you a key piece of industrial safety.

  • Technical resolution in the field: Provide rapid analytical findings and resolutions on-site, facing daily challenges that will keep your routine far from monotonous and in constant learning.

What would we like to see in your profile?

  • Specialized technical background: Training in Engineering, Higher Vocational Training in Metal Construction or similar, backed by NDT certifications (Level 2 or 3). Your solid knowledge in welding will be vital, and we highly value certifications such as IWE/IWI or ASME courses.

  • Solid field experience: We will need you to bring previous experience performing industrial inspections in a Control Body (OC) or in quality control, which will give you the foundation to perform confidently from day one.

  • Digital fluency: We will value your familiarity with document management environments or ERPs, so that technology is your ally and bureaucracy does not slow down your operational work.

  • Dynamic mobility: You will have a company vehicle for your travel to clients' workshops and facilities. You will need a valid driver's license (we always prioritize your work-life balance, so the focus of action is regional).
