We are looking for a Technician – Quality Control Engineer (Civil Works) to join our team in Tarragona. The selected candidate will be responsible for verifying that executed works comply with project requirements, regulations, and quality standards, carrying out technical control of materials, construction processes, and on-site testing.

• Supervision of execution quality in civil works (earthworks, foundations, structures, and installations).

• Slump tests (Abrams cone).
• Taking and monitoring of test specimens.

• Inspection, traceability, and monitoring of tests.

• Verification of materials.
• Layer and execution control (structural/engineering fills).

• Density tests.
• Plate load tests.

• Piling monitoring.

• Verification of execution and testing (welds, etc.).
• Management and monitoring of tests with external laboratory.
• Detection and management of non-conformities.
• Preparation of records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Verification of compliance with drawings and technical specifications.

• Education: Civil Engineering, Public Works Engineering, Technical Architecture, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control in civil works.
• Valuable experience in:
• Large-volume concrete works.
• Earthworks and controlled fills.
• Geotechnics (ground improvement, piling).
• Knowledge of:
• Structural Code.
• Materials testing and execution control.
• Civil works construction processes.
• English B2–C1.
• Availability to work in Tarragona.
