Life Actuary

1. Required academic training: University degree and master's degree in actuarial sciences.

Reporting to the Head of Area, the selected candidate will be part of a young and dynamic team, whose main tasks focus on the technical-actuarial management of the Funeral and Life Lines, both in pricing and in the regulatory management of the portfolio. Tasks include the management of technical provisions in accordance with regulations (both accounting and Solvency II), technical product design, Profit Testing of products and their monitoring, analysis of technical accounts, reporting of technical reports, preparation and monitoring of budgets, and market product studies, always in accordance with regulations and the organization's quality criteria. They will also provide support to the Actuarial Function for the different Risk Committees and account closings, and provide technical support to the study department when required.

• Portfolio management: Calculation and analysis of accounting and SII provisions
• Collaborate in the Design, Development, and Monitoring of new products according to the distribution channel.
• Preparation of technical bases.
• Actuarial parameterization and formulation in the company's systems for new products or modifications thereof.
• Collaborate in the derivation of projection hypotheses.
• Preparation of Profit testing for products and portfolios.
• Valuation of commercial campaigns, Portfolios, and group policies.
• Analysis of the quality of Reinsurance contracts.
• Preparation and analysis of comparative statistics.
• Development and implementation of IFRS17 regulations for the Life and Funeral business.
• Completion of DEC, QRT's DGS, and EIOPA.

1. Required or desirable experience: minimum of 2 years of experience in Life and/or Funeral Companies. Previous experience in the fields of Audit, Consulting, and Reinsurance will be valued, as well as having experience in the implementation of IFRS17 regulations for Life and/or funeral portfolios. Knowledge of financial products and markets will also be positively valued.
2. Additional knowledge: Familiar with Solvency II, ROSSEAR, and IFRS17 regulations.
3. Knowledge of IT tools: familiarity with technological solutions, such as Prophet (at least at user level), Cactus, SAS, Python.... is valued.
