What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, computer science, engineering or mathematics.

Minimum professional experience:
7 years of general experience in BI projects.
5 years of experience with DataStage developing high-complexity ETL processes.
5 years of experience with MicroStrategy, developing metadata, reports and dossiers.
Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL language.
Minimum 2 years of experience in DB2 database.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Unix Shell.

Desirable professional experience:
Functional knowledge of Insurance.
Knowledge of COBOL.
Knowledge or experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Python language.
R language.

Technical knowledge:
MicroStrategy Platform.
DataStage ETL Software.
DB2 database.
SQL language.
Skills:
Ability to communicate with business areas to identify needs, gather requirements and develop the designs for the data models, ETL processes or reports necessary to satisfy them.
Ability to tackle complex problems by dividing them into simpler problems that can be solved iteratively.
Ability to work in groups in remote and in-person environments, with profiles both internal and external to the organization.
Ability to estimate, organize and plan their tasks, reporting clearly and concisely to their immediate managers.

The role

They are responsible for executing the various services of the department, with the purpose of providing efficient management of the Information Portal, maintaining the Analytics Workshop, and driving the use of these types of information assets and techniques within the Company, to help improve the decision-making process, all in accordance with internal policies and current regulations and legislation regarding data processing.

What you'll do

Implement solutions and products based on descriptive and diagnostic analytics, in close collaboration with business units, to cover corporate information needs (and facilitate decision-making) and improve the efficiency of repetitive manual process execution.
Maintain the Analytics Workshop and manage the Information Portal and the provisioning of the Data Lake, to guarantee the availability of information for analytics and reporting purposes.
Manage (analyze, process and/or escalate) incidents related to descriptive and diagnostic analytics.
Provide expert support to the rest of the company's units regarding descriptive and diagnostic analytics.
Provide data to advanced analytics processes, so that the associated work teams can evaluate,
develop and test new analytical models oriented towards the improvement of business processes and facilitating decision-making.
