Social Media Specialist

• Having at least 5 years of experience in social media strategy and digital campaigns, whether in-house or at an agency.

• Having a strong sense of storytelling and the ability to transform a business objective into a story that people want to watch, share, and remember.

• Feeling passion for brands and their positioning: you are not just interested in what a brand posts, but why it is the way it is and what it wants to represent.

• Having a clear customer orientation and enjoying creating experiences and content based on their stories.

• Daring to propose ideas that break with the established, but always with judgment and understanding when and why it is worth taking a risk.

• Being a collaborative, curious person with a desire to learn, who enjoys working with different teams and projects.

• Advanced level of English

💡 It is a plus if:

• You have experience in consumer brands, technology, energy, or sustainability.

• You have worked with tools such as Metricool, Brandwatch, or CapCut.

• You have experience covering events, sponsorships, or brand activations on social media.

Your mission will be to bring the essence of Octopus to social media through campaigns, activations, content, and influencers, converting business objectives into ideas that generate awareness and truly connect with people.

• You will define the social media strategy, giving meaning to the role of each channel, the territories Octopus occupies, and how we want to tell our story on social media.

• You will convert business and brand objectives into social campaigns and activations, influencers, and partnerships, working alongside the Content team and other internal teams to take them from idea to execution.

• You will lead the influencer marketing strategy, from searching for and selecting profiles to negotiation, briefing, and monitoring collaborations.

• You will put the customer at the center, converting their real experiences with Octopus into stories and content that help show what it is like to be part of our community.

• You will bring our sponsorships, festivals, events, and partnerships to life on social media, ensuring that every physical activation also has a story to tell digitally.

• You will safeguard the Octopus personality on social media, you will work alongside the Customer team to define the criteria and tone of responses, and you will stay up to date with what is being said about our brand, the energy, and the sector to turn it into opportunities.
