ONCE (Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles) is a Spanish public-law corporation and social services organization dedicated to the social inclusion and integration of people with visual disabilities. Founded in 1938, it operates as a non-profit entity funded largely through its own lottery and gaming operations, making it one of the largest employers in Spain with over 20,000 employees. The organization provides comprehensive services including education, employment, and accessibility solutions for blind and visually impaired people across the country.
ONCE has a strong presence throughout Spain, with its headquarters in Madrid and a network of offices and services across the country. For international professionals, ONCE offers a unique opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization with a strong social impact, contributing to the inclusion of people with disabilities. The organization is known for its inclusive and supportive work culture, and its roles in Spain often require Spanish language proficiency, making it an attractive option for those looking to integrate into Spanish society.
