The role

At CTR Mediterráneo we are looking to hire a Logistics Technician to lead the planning, coordination, and optimization of inbound and outbound waste flows, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety in all logistics operations.

The position includes the comprehensive management of the company's own transport fleet, as well as the planning and monitoring of all trips using the corporate IT system.

What you'll do

Plan and coordinate waste logistics flows (inputs, storage, and dispatches).
Comprehensively manage the own fleet, consisting of:
Tractors
Tauliners
Hook-lift trucks
Tankers
Skip loaders
Hooks and containers
Organize, assign, and supervise all travel and transport routes, ensuring their efficiency and traceability.
Plan and record logistics operations in the management program used at the center, ensuring real-time updates and data reliability.
Optimize the use of internal and external resources (subcontracted transport).
Manage customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Monitor compliance with environmental, transport, and safety regulations.
Define and track logistics KPIs (costs, times, fleet utilization, productivity).
Lead the logistics team and coordinate with plant operations.
Drive continuous improvement and the digitalization of logistics processes.

Knowledge and skills

Transport route planning and operational control.
Proficiency in ERP/logistics and planning tools.
Knowledge of transport regulations (ADR certification is valued).
Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work in a team and proactive attitude
