In Commercial Client Solutions Architecture, we act as the strategic and technical support engine for Corporate Banking software factories. Our goal is to work hand in hand with each team through an agile, close, and high-impact model, designing cutting-edge, secure, highly scalable, and cost-efficient technological solutions that drive business needs.
As a Solution Architect, you will join a multidisciplinary and international team to define and design end-to-end projects (covering functional, technical, security, and resilience/reliability architecture), supported by the technological ecosystem and reference architectures of Grupo BBVA.
Our working environment is Nextgen (under Ether private cloud architecture and public clouds (AWS, Google, Azure, etc.) and Agile, which will give you the opportunity to experience the most cutting-edge technology and work dynamics that engineering currently offers.
What you'll do
- Architecture Design and Integration: Capture Business requirements and develop the complete Solution Model (technical, functional, security, and resilience solution) on the BBVA technological stack.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand in hand with local Tech Leaders, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to ensure robust end-to-end solutions aligned with global objectives.
- Trade-off Management and Technical Evaluation: Identify architectural gaps when existing solutions do not cover a need and collaborate with the different Architecture Disciplines to define alternatives and innovations (trade-offs).
- Strategic Business Consulting: Advise the Business in decision-making, proposing technological levers that maximize product value and success, without setting aside the RCP (Radical Customer Perspective)
- Governance and Full Lifecycle: Perform continuous monitoring during the development, deployment, and post-production implementation phases of the designed initiatives.
- Continuous Process Optimization: Analyze and simplify the operating frameworks of the Solution Architect role, driving efficiency in internal processes.
- Solutions Architect Community. Actively collaborate and participate in the SA Community with other architects, both Global and Local, as well as from other Business Units.
- Availability for occasional/sporadic travel depending on project needs.
