Requirements
What we're looking for
· Experience: approximately 2-4 years working in SEO, preferably in ecommerce, marketplaces, digital media, or projects with a relevant volume of URLs.
· Solid knowledge of the main SEO fundamentals: technical, content, architecture, authority, and user experience.
· Ability to perform SEO audits and, especially, to transform their conclusions into concrete actions and projects.
· Regular use of tools such as Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Screaming Frog, Sistrix, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
· Good analytical level and comfort working with data. You don't need to be a Data Analyst, but you do need to know how to formulate questions, find answers in the data, and use them to make decisions.
· Real interest in understanding how generative AI is transforming product search and discovery.
· Curiosity about platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, TikTok, YouTube, and any new environment where users can search for or discover products.
· Ability to work in a team and coordinate projects with very different profiles: technology, product, catalog, content, business, and marketing.
· Minimum B2 English. We will especially value French, Italian, Portuguese, or German.
· Education in Marketing, Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar disciplines, although we will equally value an equivalent professional career path.
But, above all, we are looking for a person who is curious, an executor, and eager to learn.
The search three years from now will likely look very little like today's. We want to bring in someone who finds that stimulating and wants to help us discover what comes next.
The role
The way products are discovered is changing radically. Google remains fundamental, but today a purchasing decision can start in a search engine, continue on TikTok or YouTube, be resolved by asking ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity, and end within the ecommerce search engine itself (even outside of it).
At PcComponentes, we are building our Product Discovery team to face precisely that challenge: ensuring our products, categories, brands, and content are found wherever our customers search, ask, compare, or discover technology.
We are looking for an SEO & AI Search Specialist who wants to help us build this new way of understanding organic visibility at one of the leading technological ecommerce companies in Europe.
You will be part of the PcComponentes Product Discovery team, working alongside SEO, Content, Catalog, and Product profiles.
Our mission is simple to explain, though tremendously ambitious: to make PcComponentes the best possible answer when someone searches for technology.
And "searching" no longer means only typing a query into Google.
We will work on PcComponentes' visibility in traditional search engines, AI-driven engines, conversational assistants, social platforms, video, and new discovery environments as they emerge.
Your mission will be to execute and develop SEO and Search Discovery projects that increase PcComponentes' organic visibility, working across five European markets: Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, and Germany.
We are not just looking for someone who detects opportunities. We are looking for someone who loves turning them into projects, executing them, measuring them, and learning from them.
What you'll do
· Execute SEO projects oriented towards improving the visibility, traffic, and business of PcComponentes' categories, products, brands, and content.
· Analyze growth opportunities through keyword research, search intent analysis, competition, trends, and always, taking user behavior into account.
· Work on the ecommerce's technical SEO: crawling, indexing, architecture, internal linking, rendering, structured data, JavaScript, Core Web Vitals, and other factors that affect our ability to be discovered.
· Optimize categories, product pages, landings, guides, and other content for traditional search engines and new response engines.
· Participate in AI Search / GEO / AEO projects, analyzing how PcComponentes, its brands, and its content appear, are cited, or recommended by AI-based engines and assistants.
· Explore organic visibility opportunities beyond Google: Bing, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, AI assistants, conversational search, and new discovery channels.
· Work alongside Discovery, Product, and Content to turn search opportunities into real improvements within the ecommerce.
· Analyze large volumes of URLs and data to detect patterns, problems, and growth opportunities.
· Measure the impact of projects using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Adobe Analytics, Metabase, or other specialized tools.
· Participate in the evolution of our international strategy, executing global initiatives and adapting them to the particularities of ES, FR, PT, IT, and DE.
· Experiment. Search is changing too fast to work solely with known recipes. We want to test, measure, and learn continuously.
