The role
Company dedicated to the distribution of testing and measurement instruments for the main electrical magnitudes in LV, MV, and HV. It works with the main electricity distribution companies, water supply companies, and REE. It also provides specialized consulting services. The position is located in Viladecans.
The candidate will be responsible for defining the product strategy, managing the complete lifecycle, and acting as a liaison between clients, represented companies, and the company, ensuring competitive solutions aligned with standards.
Product strategy and management
- Analyze market trends (utilities, renewables, industrial) and customer needs.
- Identify innovation opportunities in measurement, sensing, and electrical grid digitalization.
- Manage the product lifecycle: from conceptualization to end-of-life.
Coordination with represented companies
- Communicate market needs to represented companies.
- Translate commercial requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (IEC, IEEE, ISO, etc.).
Commercial support
- Define positioning and pricing strategies.
- Support the commercial team with:
- Technical training
- Sales argumentation materials
- Presentations to clients
- Participate in negotiations with key clients (utilities, OEMs, EPCs)
Clients and market
- Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and prioritizing improvements.
- Maintain relationships with strategic clients and technology partners.
- Analyze competition and technological benchmarks.
Profitability and KPIs
- Manage portfolio budget and margins.
- Monitor KPIs: sales, market share, ROI, product adoption.
Experience
- 3 years in related roles such as Product Management, Application Engineering...
- Experience with measurement equipment and the energy sector (utilities, renewables, grids) is valued.
