Maintenance Operator

• We need availability from Monday to Sunday, on morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

• We need the person joining us to have previous experience in industrial maintenance, as well as knowledge in electromechanical maintenance or refrigeration, if your knowledge is more focused on mechatronics, sign up because we are also looking for you!

• Minimum years of experience? We are not closed off in this regard, since we know that each learning process is relative, but we would like you to have at least 1 year of experience in the maintenance department of industrial plants, preferably in the food sector.

• We are looking for both senior and junior profiles.

We are located in Arteixo, in the province of A Coruña, so part of our teams use Galician as their usual language on a daily basis, so if you have a high level of Galician, that's a plus.

At Grupo Nueva Pescanova, we are looking to incorporate Maintenance Workers into our team in Arteixo. Under the leadership of our maintenance manager, you will be part of a team of more than 10 people, also working with our two shift supervisors.

• You will provide support to production

• You will carry out assembly and disassembly of machinery

• You will carry out assembly and disassembly of lines, providing support to the production line in case of any incident. Our focus is on resolving incidents in the shortest possible time, and for that, our focus is on preventive maintenance.

• You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, both electrical and mechanical.

• You will make improvements to machinery and installations.

• Active participation in the continuous improvement system, based on the Company's Lean Manufacturing.

And for that, what do we expect from you?

You will not need to have geographic mobility, as you will carry out your work in person at our Arteixo center.

Our Industrial Center located in Arteixo, A Coruña, specializes in cooking seafood products such as Vannamei shrimp, prawns, among others.

We have four production lines (not all are always in operation, depending on the campaign period): the two main ones, although during campaign there are more, are dedicated to cooking shrimp, which is then packaged in different formats: either frozen or refrigerated. We also produce pasta, prepared dishes, and our paella line.

We have machine rooms, a water treatment plant, a purification area, a steam boiler room, freezing lines, bagging machines, automatic weighing machines, tray sealing machines, vacuum machines, X-ray machines, and sealing machines.
