Production Internship (Chemistry) - Pikolin (PIKOLIN GROUP)

You will join the Foaming Area team at our PLAZA plant (Zaragoza), where you will participate hands-on in the formulation, reaction, and quality control processes for polyurethane and technical foams within the group:

• Process and Operations: You will learn about and collaborate on the basic tasks of the foaming process.

• Formulation and Mixing: You will learn about the specific formulations for manufacturing flexible polyurethane foam and the preparation of mixtures.

• Technology and Control: Training on the basic operation and components of the foaming machine, as well as the software that controls it, while carrying out process control tasks.

• Industrial Maintenance: You will learn about and perform basic autonomous maintenance operations on plant equipment.

• Chemical Safety and Risk: You will learn about the risks associated with the chemicals used (classification, labeling, and first aid) and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Prevention: You will learn about and ensure compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) regulations applicable to the process.

• Chemical Logistics: You will learn how to correctly and safely handle chemical products (refilling and unloading).

• Requirements: Enrolled student in the Higher Degree in Industrial Chemistry with availability to participate in the Dual Vocational Training (FP Dual) program.

• Requirements: Possibility of signing the Dual FP agreement with your educational center to join our plant in PLAZA (Zaragoza).

• Technical and Mechanical Knowledge: Interest in polymer chemistry and polyurethane transformation processes. Knowledge or familiarity with industrial mechanics and plant equipment maintenance will be valued.

• Languages: Minimum English level (able to understand technical documentation, manuals, or safety data sheets).

• Skills: Personal and methodological rigor in following testing and chemical safety protocols, analytical skills, teamwork, and a clear practical orientation towards the industrial and plant environment.

Te integrarás en el equipo del Área de Espumación de nuestra planta de PLAZA (Zaragoza), donde participarás de forma práctica en los procesos de formulación, reacción y control de calidad del poliuretano y las espumas técnicas del grupo:

• Proceso y Operaciones: Conocerás y colaborarás en las tareas básicas del proceso de espumación.

• Formulación y Mezclas: Aprenderás sobre las formulaciones específicas de la fabricación de espuma flexible de poliuretano y la preparación de mezclas.

• Tecnología y Control: Formación en el funcionamiento y elementos básicos de la máquina de espumación, así como del software que la gobierna, realizando tareas de control de proceso.

• Mantenimiento Industrial: Conocerás y aprenderás a realizar operaciones básicas de mantenimiento autónomo en equipos de planta.

• Seguridad y Riesgo Químico: Aprenderás sobre los riesgos asociados a los productos químicos utilizados (clasificación, etiquetado y primeros auxilios) y la correcta utilización de los Equipos de Protección Individual (EPIs).

• Prevención: Conocerás y velarás por el cumplimiento de las normas de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) aplicables al proceso.

• Logística Química: Aprenderás a realizar correctamente y en condiciones seguras la manipulación de productos químicos (refilling y descargas).

• Formación: Estudiante matriculado/a en el Grado Superior en Química Industrial con disponibilidad para realizar la modalidad de FP Dual.

• Requisitos: Posibilidad de suscribir el convenio de FP Dual con tu centro educativo para incorporarte a nuestra planta en PLAZA (Zaragoza).

• Conocimientos técnicos y mecánicos: Interés por la química de polímeros y los procesos de transformación del poliuretano, valorando positivamente conocimientos o nociones en mecánica industrial y mantenimiento de equipos de planta.

• Idiomas: Nivel mínimo de Inglés (capaz de comprender documentación técnica, manuales o fichas de datos de seguridad).

• Competencias: Rigor personal y metodológico en el cumplimiento de protocolos de ensayo y seguridad química, capacidad de análisis, trabajo en equipo y una clara orientación práctica al entorno industrial y de planta.
