From Quirónsalud's private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Coordinator for the Surgical Block at our Hospital Universitario La Luz, located in the Moncloa area (C/ Maestro Ángel Llorca, 8, Chamberí).

Coordinate and facilitate activities related to the care process, ensuring high-quality care among the professionals you coordinate, applying the knowledge specific to your role, and following the guidelines established by the center based on care protocols for each area, contributing to the delivery of excellent service.

What will be your functions and responsibilities?

Coordinate and supervise the care activity of the surgical block, ensuring compliance with protocols, circuits, and quality standards.

Manage and coordinate the nursing and TCAE team, ensuring proper staff organization and care coverage.

Ensure the quality and safety of patients, verifying the correct development of surgical activity.

Supervise the maintenance, proper conservation, and correct use of surgical equipment.

Ensure the availability of sterile material, instrumentation, and necessary resources for surgical activity.

Control the stock of medications, healthcare products, and supplies in the surgical area.

Anticipate the needs for instruments and equipment based on the surgical schedule.

Supervise the proper completion of care records, informed consents, and the Surgical Safety Checklist.

Lead, motivate, and develop the team, promoting ongoing training and the achievement of objectives and indicators.

Drive the operational efficiency of the surgical block, minimizing incidents and delays in patient care.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, recognized or equivalent.

Additional training or accreditation in management and leadership is valued.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room.

Previous experience in team management is valued.
