The role
Education is a fundamental part of the work we do at Rainfer. Protecting primates does not only consist of rescuing and providing a second chance to the animals that arrive at the Center: it also involves working to build a more conscious, respectful, and committed society regarding the protection of animals and the environment.
For this reason, we seek to incorporate a person passionate about education and outreach, with the ability to transmit knowledge and values to audiences of different ages and turn every educational activity into an opportunity to foster respect towards animals, biodiversity, and nature.
The work will be carried out mainly with school groups, children, and youth audiences, although you will also participate in activities aimed at adult audiences, workshops, awareness actions, and other events organized by Rainfer.

We especially seek a person capable of combining scientific and environmental knowledge with good communication skills, transforming content that can be complex into understandable, rigorous, and attractive messages for the public.
Rainfer's educational work is directly related to our activity as a primate rescue and rehabilitation center. Therefore, we consider it especially important that the person understands our working philosophy and is able to transmit a vision of wild animals based on respect, welfare, and conservation.
Likewise, we value people who understand that an educational activity requires both communication skills and preparation, organization, punctuality, compliance with protocols, and coordination with the rest of the team.
