The role
Do you have technical experience in a heavy industrial machinery warehouse or maintenance and are you looking for job stability? At Randstad, we are looking for a Technical Spare Parts and Heavy Machinery Warehouse Worker to join the team responsible for ensuring technical supply, spare parts control, and smooth service to the maintenance workshop.
We offer a stable position in a consolidated industrial environment, with the opportunity to apply your knowledge in technical part verification, reference interpretation, and warehouse management.
What you'll do
Technical Reception and Inspection of Parts
Receive goods, spare parts, and industrial supplies, verifying the correspondence between the delivery note, the purchase order, and the physical material.
Identify and cross-check technical references, OEM codes, part numbers, and specifications (dimensions, threads, materials) using basic measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer).
Perform visual quality control of incoming parts to detect cracks, corrosion, deformations, or damage during transport.
Storage and Location Organization
Assign and code warehouse locations based on the part typology, high turnover (ABC criteria), weight, volume, and preservation conditions (delicate parts, bearings, seals, electronics).
Maintain the logical organization of the warehouse (shelving, drawers for micro-parts, palletization) ensuring fast and safe access.
Inventory Management and System Recording
Register entries, exits, and transfers of parts in the management software (ERP/WMS) in real time to avoid discrepancies.
Perform cycle counts and periodic inventories of assigned references.
Detect stockouts, levels below the reorder point, and obsolete or low-turnover parts, notifying the purchasing area.
Order Preparation and Dispatch (Picking)
Interpret work orders, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical disassembly catalogs to select the correct parts.
Pack, label, and prepare spare parts kits or packages for delivery to the internal workshop or shipment to external customers.
Attend the counter or delivery window, responding to technical inquiries regarding equivalencies or reference compatibility.
Machinery Handling and Industrial Safety
Safely operate handling equipment (forklifts, stackers, manual and electric pallet jacks).
Apply Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) regulations when handling heavy or bulky loads and during high-level storage.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and ergonomics in the work area (5S methodology).
How you'll work
Work organization: Defined shifts (rotating) in a structured environment without direct management of personnel under your charge. From 07:00-15:00 and from 15:00-23:00, Monday to Friday.
