Preparation and handling of materials
Provide support to the machine operator in the different auxiliary phases of the sheet metal laser cutting process, especially in the selection, preparation, handling, and loading of material; the separation and classification of the cut parts; the removal and correct segregation of waste; and the operational cleaning of the machine and its surroundings.
All of this must be carried out following the instructions of the machine operator and the procedures established by the company, complying at all times with quality, order, cleanliness, occupational risk prevention, and safety standards.
Support for the production process
Provide support to the machine operator during the auxiliary operations necessary to guarantee the continuity of the cutting process.
Collaborate in the removal of material once the cutting process is finished.
Separate the parts.
Place the parts in the corresponding areas, pallets, or containers to facilitate their correct identification and the subsequent process.
Communicate to the machine operator any incident, defect, anomaly, or deviation detected during the handling of the material or the parts.
Cleaning of machinery and work area
Perform the operational cleaning of the machinery following the procedures and instructions of the machine operator.
Clean the different accessible areas and components of the equipment, including peripheral areas, sheets, sieve, material outlet, and slag area.
Remove material remains, slag, and other waste generated during the process.
Keep the work and circulation areas associated with the machine clean and orderly.
Collaborate in the periodic cleaning tasks necessary to maintain the machine and its surroundings in adequate conditions of use.
Waste management
Collect the waste and surplus materials generated during the production process.
Correctly separate and classify the different types of waste according to the criteria established by the company.
Deposit the waste in the corresponding containers or designated areas.
Contribute to the maintenance of order and the correct management of waste in the section.
Safety and maintenance of the surroundings
Correctly use the mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).
Comply with the occupational risk prevention rules and procedures applicable to the position.
Correctly use the handling equipment and authorized auxiliary means.
Ensure the proper use and conservation of the equipment, tools, and facilities used.
Maintain the order and cleanliness of the workstation according to the standards established by the company.
Immediately inform the machine operator or the supervisor of any risk situation, breakdown, anomaly, or incident detected.
Participate in the improvement, order, cleanliness, and organization actions of the section that are assigned to you.
Schedule: rotating morning and afternoon shifts. 06-14 and 14-22
Salary: 10.92€ gross/hour
