Junior Maintenance Assistant

To be eligible for this maintenance assistant position, we will positively assess that you meet the following professional and educational profile:

Vocational training at an intermediate or advanced level in areas such as Electromechanical Maintenance, Mechanical Manufacturing, Welding and Boilermaking, or equivalent qualifications.

Demonstrable prior experience working in industrial or metallurgical environments, performing duties related to those of a boilermaker or mechanical fitter.

Advanced manual dexterity in the handling of workshop tools, cutting machinery, welding, and precision measuring tools.

Ability to interpret industrial drawings and technical documentation.

Total schedule flexibility to work rotating shifts in morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Orientation toward teamwork, technical problem-solving ability, and a high commitment to the occupational safety culture.

Residency in the plant area or availability of a personal vehicle to commute to the workplace punctually.

As a maintenance assistant, you will be an active part of the technical team and will be responsible for supporting the proper operation of the production lines. Your main responsibilities will include:

Carrying out support tasks in preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and production facilities.

Develop functions as a mechanical fitter, collaborating in the disassembly, coupling, repair, and fine-tuning of mechanical components and tools.

Detect and report anomalies or wear in equipment at an early stage to avoid production line stoppages.

Interpret technical drawings and boiler-making or mechanical schematics for the correct execution of daily tasks.

Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization of work tools in the workshop and intervention areas.
