What we're looking for

Experience and profile: Technical profile with at least 3-4 years of experience in industrial refrigeration and the ability to manage personnel.

Essential technical knowledge

Proficiency in industrial refrigeration systems.
Skill in copper welding.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance in refrigeration machinery.

Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training:

60-hour course / Preventive Resource.
20-hour specific course in HVAC and Mechanical Installations.

Academic training: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training (FP) in Refrigeration and HVAC Installations, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a similar area.

Local mobility in the Community of Madrid: Driving license B and car.

Nice to have

Accreditations: RITE Logbook (Valorable) and Fluorinated Gases Handling Certificate.

Competitive compensation package: Base salary of 25,000-40,000 Euros/ gross/year, adapted to the value and experience provided.

The role

At Randstad, we are looking for a Refrigeration Technician / Maintenance Supervisor to lead our industrial refrigeration projects in the Community of Madrid.

We offer the opportunity to join a stable position where you will be the technical reference for our field team, supervising the correct functioning of the facilities and coordinating preventive maintenance actions. If you have solid experience in industrial refrigeration, knowledge of copper welding, and are looking for a project 100% focused on the Madrid region without the need to travel outside, this is your opportunity!

What you'll do

Leadership and team coordination: Directly direct, organize, and supervise the team of technicians assigned to the plant or site.

Preventive maintenance: Planning and execution of preventive maintenance plans on industrial refrigeration machinery and systems to guarantee maximum performance.

Technical tasks and welding: Assembly, adjustment, and mechanical/refrigeration repair work, including copper welding in the refrigeration circuit.

Safety and OSH supervision: Ensure strict compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations at the workplace, acting as a preventive resource.

Incident resolution: Specialized technical support to the team in the event of breakdowns or deviations in industrial refrigeration machines.

How you'll work

Stable local project: Professional development focused exclusively on the Community of Madrid (no overnight stays away or national/international travel).

Continuous schedule: 8-hour workday from Monday to Friday, facilitating work-life balance.
