Professional Association Manager

• Higher University Degree in Pharmacy. An MBA or postgraduate degree in Institutional Management will be highly valued. Pharmacy graduates preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, of which at least 5 must have been in Management or Executive Director positions, especially in fields related to the pharmaceutical profession, ideally in Professional Associations, Business Associations, Cooperatives, the Pharmaceutical Industry, or environments of high institutional representation.
• Core competencies:

o Senior Leadership: Proven experience in managing established teams.

o Stakeholder Management: Ability to operate in complex political, institutional, and administrative environments.

Reporting directly to the Presidency and the Governing Council, the Manager will be the executive driving force of the institution. Their mission will be to lead the operational strategy, ensure excellence in service to members, and maintain high-level dialogue with public and private bodies, guaranteeing a smooth transition ahead of the current officeholder's retirement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Institutional Management and External Relations:

• Support and advise the Presidency within the Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists of Castilla-La Mancha.
• Provide technical advice to the Presidency on the development of all regulations affecting the sector.
• Provide technical advice to the Presidency and act on behalf of the College of Pharmacists of Ciudad Real in negotiations with SESCAM (Castilla-La Mancha Health Service) and other entities (MUFACE, ISFAS, etc.) regarding the management of agreements, prescription billing, and sector regulations.
• Represent the institution in professional, social, and administrative forums, projecting an image of solvency and professionalism.

1. Leadership and Internal Management:

• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of 6-7 people, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Oversee the College's financial and administrative management (budgets, treasury, and audit).
• Ensure regulatory, legal, and statutory compliance of all College activities.

1. Service to Members:

• Ensure that the range of services (training, technical advisory, administrative support) delivers real value to registered pharmacists.
• Handle the needs and queries of the membership promptly, maintaining a close and trusting relationship.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in internal processes and propose modernization projects aligned with the College's traditional identity.
