The role
Are you passionate about hardware design but looking for a project where your creativity defines the product's direction? Would you like to work in an advanced technological environment without the bureaucracy of large corporations and with a schedule that truly respects your personal life?
What you'll do
Your mission and the impact of your work:
As a specialist within the department, you will assume full responsibility for the hardware cycle, from assessing the feasibility of new projects to their implementation. You will work side by side with the Head of Electronics and R&D, driving innovation across three major product lines: single-scale sound level meters, acoustic limiters for the leisure sector, and cloud-connected noise pollution sensors for Smart Cities.
In your day-to-day role, you will be responsible for:
- Design, simulate, and validate analog and digital electronic circuits (your main focus) for our range of sound level meters, dosimeters, and calibrators.
- Develop the firmware that brings the equipment to life (device control, screens, battery management, and microprocessors), contributing your creative vision to optimize its operation.
- Perform prototyping and execute the necessary functional and technical tests to ensure maximum performance before production.
- Manage electronic components and coordinate the relationship with subcontractors in charge of circuit manufacturing and board assembly.
- Prepare the technical design documentation describing the device's behavior, as well as testing protocols.
- Provide support to the production team to ensure correct final assembly and the commissioning of the devices.
Requirements
We are looking for a technical professional who values long-term stability and enjoys working autonomously in a workshop with a family essence. To integrate successfully, we will need you to bring:
- University degree in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
- A creative and organized mindset, with the ability to structure and plan your own developments based on initial specifications.
- Fluent communication skills and a taste for teamwork, interacting naturally with technical and business managers.
- Language proficiency: As this is a 100% on-site position at our facilities, Catalan is essential for day-to-day interaction with the team, in addition to an adequate level of written English for technical documentation and component management with international suppliers.
