About the role

Are you looking to design onboard technology that operates at over 300 km/h or in extreme conditions of -45 ºC? Join a leading engineering team within the Electronics and Traction department in Bilbao. You will lead the architecture, integration, and deployment of communications, infotainment, and CCTV systems for the next generation of high-speed and commuter trains.

What you'll do

Design and Systems Engineering: Define the architecture, sizing, detailed specifications, and communication interfaces (onboard and train-to-ground) for Passenger Information Systems (PIS), Public Address (PA), Infotainment (IFE), and CCTV.

Full Lifecycle: Lead the phases of conceptualization, integration, verification, and validation (V&V) in the lab and on actual trains.

Technical Supplier Management: Technically coordinate key suppliers from the bidding phase through to final commissioning, ensuring compliance with functional requirements, schedules, quality, and costs.
