Project Engineer

At Randstad Engineering, we are looking for a Project Engineer to be the technical right hand of the Project Manager in the implementation of an extrusion press within industrial operations. • Lead and coordinate engineering activities related to the installation and commissioning of the new extrusion press.
• Provide direct support to the Project Manager in the global execution of the project.
• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Production, EHS, external suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions and the operational needs of the plant.
• Participate in technical reviews, layout validation, commissioning, and industrial startup phases.
• Monitor deadlines, technical risks, incidents, and action plans associated with the project.
• Lead the resolution of technical problems during the installation, commissioning, and ramp-up phases.
• Provide support for operational stabilization following implementation.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and external engineering partners when necessary.
• Collaborate in monitoring the project CAPEX, technical validation of deviations, and execution control.
• Effectively coordinate and manage relationships with different local and international stakeholders, including the corporate teams responsible for investment, governance, and project monitoring.
• Manage resources and documentation to obtain administrative authorizations to execute the project.
• Monitor and coordinate the various activities to ensure the project respects the agreed deadlines and costs.

Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar.

Between 3 and 5 years of experience in industrial projects within manufacturing environments on similar projects.

Experience in extrusion, heavy industry, metal processing, or the implementation of industrial equipment will be especially valued.

Profile with a practical orientation, strong plant presence, and execution capability.

High level of English is essential.
