The merchandise we move is motorcycles.
Motorcycles are merchandise that they move by pushing them; specifically, when our trucks arrive, they have to unload them.
The motorcycles come tied up one by one and protected by mats. They have to untie them, push them to the tail lift, and then push them to roll the motorcycle and place it in the warehouse in the appropriate area.
Loading the trucks works the same way, but in reverse. They look for the motorcycle in the warehouse, place it on the dock where the truck to be loaded is located, and then load them into the trailer and secure them according to the model.
It is not a job for running. It is a calm job since the main thing is that the motorcycles do not suffer scratches; they are not rushed, but it is a job where they move a lot.
Some motorcycles come in boxes; these are moved with the forklift, so if you have a forklift license, even better.
The schedule is from 07:00 to 15:00h
When the high season begins, the manager sometimes moves the schedule slightly to cover some afternoon hours; they may work a split shift starting at 08:00h until 13:00, stop for one hour to eat, and then work from 14:00 to 17:00.
