The role

Do you have experience as an operator in the food sector and are you looking to take a step forward in your career towards a more technical profile? At Randstad, we are selecting an Assembly Operator to join a leading and historic company in the food industry located in the Conca de Barberà region (Montblanc area). This is a vacancy focused on dynamic professionals with dexterity and an interest in industrial machinery who want stability and professional development.

What you'll do

Reporting directly to the shift supervisor, your main responsibility will be the setup and adaptation of production lines according to the manufacturing plan:

Adjustment, adaptation, and preparation of continuous production lines according to the product to be processed.

Assembly, disassembly, and calibration of tools and accessories on packaging and processing machinery.

Support in basic corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance in the event of possible jams or misadjustments during the shift.

Supervision of the correct line startup and verification of production parameters.

Strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and occupational risk prevention regulations.

How you'll work

Rotating schedule with concentrated rest days: Rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts that include a cycle of 9 consecutive days of rest:

Night shift: From Monday to Saturday.
Afternoon shift: From Sunday to Friday.
Morning shift: From Monday to Friday.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum demonstrable experience as a production operator in food sector factories. Having participated in format changes, assembly, or initial industrial maintenance tasks will be very positively valued (a senior maintenance profile is not required).

Education: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Electromechanical Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Process Operations, or the Food Industry.

Skills: Technical and manual dexterity, agility, ability to work under pressure, and a genuine interest in mechanics and the factory environment.

Residence: Residence in Montblanc or the Conca de Barberà region (or neighboring regions), with own vehicle to commute to the position.
