Requirements:

Experience:

Experience in managing technological projects in the insurance sector and in leading heterogeneous senior teams, with a solid methodological base (in both agile methodologies and the traditional waterfall model), demonstrating a differential value in the evolution of traditional environments and processes, as well as high-level interlocution capacity that allows different project lines to be undertaken with guarantees of success.

Definition of tactical and coexistence solutions to support analytics systems, including data models and data transformation processes.

Experience in performing business needs analysis and recommending technical solutions.

Knowledge of software design, including architecture patterns for Front-end and Back-end layers for the conceptualization and design of new architectures based on new IT paradigms and patterns (e.g., Microservices), as well as service-oriented architectures (SOA, Apification, etc.) and BPMN (Pega).

Demonstrated experience in developing PEGA solutions with Customer Services for Insurances, traditional UI, Cosmos, and Constellation….

Experience in the use of artificial intelligence and Robotics in Pega processes.

Experience in the use of tools linked to the SW lifecycle (Service Now).

Valuable:

3 years (minimum) of experience in developing Pegasystems projects, with 4-5 years being advisable.

5 years (minimum) in the insurance sector.

8 years (minimum) of experience in project development.

Required Knowledge:

Certification in Agile methodologies for multidisciplinary development teams will be positively valued.

Training and official certifications related to project management, people management, and leadership, as well as technological certifications, will be positively valued.

Knowledge of artificial intelligence applied to business processes will be positively valued, especially regarding call centers and claims processing tasks and services. Knowledge of AI models, their configuration, and training will also be valued.

Required formal education: Technical Engineering / Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar.

Additional required training: PegaSystems System Architect (SA) or Senior System Architect (SSA) Certification.

Languages, spoken and written: English, intermediate level.

What's your mission?

For this position, a management profile is required in the IT Development field, with extensive knowledge and experience both in project execution and in BAU management under PegaSystems technology. Their mission will consist of leading the IT Development team focused on maintenance and projects in the claims domain, for both an insurance company and a service company, within the Core Assistance area.

They must know PegaSystems technology and project management under that technology. They will be responsible for the consolidation and implementation of enhancements on the platform, following the corporate governance and management methodology.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the alignment of Pega with the technology and business strategy, maximizing functional value and long-term operational sustainability.

Governance and service overview of the Pega platform (SLAs, resilience, evolution…)

Supervision and tracking of milestones, platform risks, and budget.

Analysis of current systems and processes, with a clear and objective identification of pros and cons of different technical approaches.

Ensure that implementations are carried out according to the best practices established by Corporate Governance and Architecture.

Continuous improvement of implemented systems, ensuring that applications remain up and running in a secure and reliable manner, guaranteeing the quality of service provided to the various areas of the Company.

Ensure proper governance and success of projects within their scope of responsibility, applying experience, methodology, and leadership capability in complex situations.

Management with development providers: service governance, of the AM (Application Management) partners involved in projects, risk management, communication with teams, ensuring scope compliance, task prioritization, estimate review.

Leadership of action plans / improvement actions in response to risks and/or issues, selection and control of providers, liaison with the different Business areas of the Group.

Autonomy and solvency in decision-making.

They must lead multidisciplinary teams within the scope of development projects on PegaSystems, maintaining a global vision of all evolution activity, relying on their internal and external team, exercising complete and autonomous control over the different development providers involved, the resources available, and the management of budgets and associated billing.
