Automotive Surveyor

To succeed in this position, we will mainly value:

Contract type: Permanent contract.

Salary range: depending on experience provided

Workplace: Tarragona (100% on-site workshop modality).

Working day: Monday to Friday, intensive shift (Morning: 6:00 to 14:15h / Afternoon: 14:00 to 22:15h).

Work environment: Integration into a consolidated technical inspection team (3 people) with direct support and continuous guidance.

At Randstad, we are looking for a Surveyor to work directly in the workshop alongside the internal inspection team, performing a fundamental role in technical evaluation, damage assessment, and budget control of vehicle logistics operations.

Reporting functionally to the Warranty and Facilities Management area, and working closely with the technical inspection team, your main responsibilities will be:

• Technical damage inspection: Perform exhaustive physical and technical inspections of vehicles (focused on used fleets) to identify breakdowns, accidents, or operational incidents following transport or use.
• Budgeting and cost control: Prepare, review, validate, and control the accuracy of technical repair estimates, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Spare parts management: Identify mechanical components, bodywork parts, and electronics necessary for repair, processing and managing parts requests.
• Counter-surveys: Manage counter-surveys and provide responses/rebuttals to original assessments.
• Coordination with stakeholders: Offer technical advice on assessments and interventions, coordinating with insurance companies, suppliers, and automotive sector professionals.
