The role
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data and pricing analysis? We are looking for a Temporary Pricing Support Specialist to join a global team and drive operational excellence. If you excel at data management and want to develop your career in a dynamic, international environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What you'll do
- Data Preparation, Maintenance and Quality:
Collect, consolidate, structure and maintain pricing, sales, cost and procurement data from approved sources. Perform completeness, consistency and reasonableness checks, investigate routine discrepancies, maintain exception logs and coordinate corrections with the relevant data owners. Own agreed recurring data files and updates according to documented processes and deadlines.
- Pricing and Cost Analysis Support:
Support Pricing Analysts with recurring analyses such as cost impact, cost index, price evolution, margin and profitability reviews, tariff and duty comparisons, customer or ingredient impact analysis, and budget or forecast preparation. Independently prepare standard calculations using approved methodologies, reconcile totals and weighted averages, document assumptions and highlight material exceptions for review.
- Reporting, Dashboard and Tool Support
Own or support recurring updates of standard Excel files, trackers, dashboard inputs and reporting packages. Refresh source files, reconcile outputs, perform validation checks, maintain access or distribution lists where assigned, and prepare concise summaries, tables and charts for internal stakeholders. Support users with routine questions and route technical or analytical issues to the appropriate owner.
- Costbook, Market and Raw Material Support
Support costbook and costing-data maintenance activities, including the preparation of input files, comparison of cost movements, collection of explanations and follow-up on identified issues. Organize procurement and market information on raw materials, freight, tariffs and other cost drivers, and prepare structured internal summaries using verified sources and approved templates.
- Process, Project and Testing Support
Contribute to pricing and costing improvement initiatives by documenting current processes, mapping data flows, maintaining action trackers, preparing test files, executing defined test cases and recording results. Identify repetitive activities and practical opportunities for standardization, simplification or automation, and support implementation under the direction of the Pricing Team.
- Administrative and Team Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Pricing Team, including organizing working files and folders, maintaining process documentation and contact lists, coordinating inputs and deadlines, scheduling selected meetings, preparing agendas or minutes, following up on open actions, and supporting the preparation and distribution of internal materials. Help manage routine requests received through shared channels and ensure they are tracked and directed to the appropriate team member.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with Pricing, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Digital and other relevant teams to gather inputs, clarify routine data questions and follow up on agreed actions. Communicate progress, missing information, assumptions and potential issues clearly. Handle standard interactions independently within the agreed scope and escalate sensitive, non-standard or decision-related matters.
- Typical Deliverables
- Validated data extracts, reconciliations, exception logs and follow-up trackers.
- Updated pricing, cost-impact, customer P&L, costbook, tariff or market-intelligence files using approved templates.
- Recurring reports, dashboard input files, summary charts and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
