What we're looking for

Academic training: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechatronics, Automotive, or equivalent training/experience in the Nautical/Naval sector.
Work experience: 3 years of demonstrable experience in industrial maintenance and repair of large-tonnage diesel or gas engines.
Technical knowledge: Proficiency in reading electromechanical schematics and the ability to perform adjustments in control systems.
Mobility and licenses: Category B driver's license and initial use of own vehicle. Full availability to travel nationally (operating base in A Coruña/Galicia and Northern Portugal) and internationally.
Operational availability: Flexibility to work on a block schedule (14-day periods consisting of 12 days of work and 2 days of rest).

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Attractive fixed remuneration: Base salary of €28,000 gross per year in 14 payments.
Allowances and bonuses:
Initial availability bonus of €4,000/year (covers the first 15 on-call shifts).
Weekend work allowance of €97 per Saturday and €97 per Sunday.
Incentive/objective pool of approx. €900 semi-annually (starting from the first year).
Group variable component of 4% of salary based on company objectives.
Per diem and accommodation: Per diem system (€78/day for full national per diem, €128 in Portugal, €158 in other international destinations) and guaranteed accommodation in minimum 4-star hotels (single room).
Work tools: Mileage compensation at an initial €0.47/km using own vehicle, with subsequent assignment of a company car. A laptop, mobile phone, and full PPE are provided.
Onboarding and training plan: 2 weeks of continuous training in Tarragona alongside an experienced senior team, in addition to annual training in Ciudad Real.

The role

What you'll do

Execute the diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of large-tonnage diesel and gas engines, in both land-based applications (power/cogeneration plants) and marine applications (vessels).
Perform complex electromechanical adjustments and calibrations on the equipment's control systems.
Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematics specific to the manufacturer's technology.
Evaluate the technical condition of engine components, issuing technical recommendations for repair or improvement.
Coordinate on-site interventions with the client and verify rigorous compliance with safety and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
Complete work orders and technical reports through the internal platform (SAT-Land), recording calibration data, measurements, and incidents.
Provide operational technical support to the team during scheduled shutdowns and critical breakdowns at a national and international level when reinforcement is required.

How you'll work

Working day and rest: Hiring under the Metal Collective Agreement of Tarragona (1,744 hours/year) with an immediate accumulated rest system.
