Tunnel Manager - Civil Works Barcelona

We are currently looking to bring on board a Tunnel Manager in Barcelona who shares our commitment to quality, responsibility, and excellent service.

Job duties and responsibilities

• Lead the production teams and coordinate the different areas involved in the operation of the tunnel boring machine (maintenance, surveying, quality, prevention, and subcontractors).

• Plan and optimize the human, material, and technical resources needed to ensure the expected performance levels.

• Oversee the progress of the tunnel boring machine, analyzing production indicators and implementing corrective measures when necessary.

• Manage technical and operational issues related to the TBM and propose solutions to minimize their impact on the project.

• Act as the main point of contact in the day-to-day management of the tunnel with the Works Management, Technical Assistance, and Project Management.

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and skills:

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in TBM tunnel projects, including team management responsibilities and production coordination.

• Advanced knowledge of mechanized tunnel construction, TBM operation, segment assembly, and auxiliary tunnel systems.

• Experience in works scheduling, production control, cost monitoring, and subcontractor management.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to underground works.

• Proficiency in project management and works control software.

Actualmente buscamos incorporar un/a Jefe/a de Tunel en Barcelona, que comparta nuestro compromiso con la calidad, la responsabilidad y el servicio excelente.

Funciones y responsabilidades del puesto

• Liderar los equipos de producción y coordinar las distintas áreas implicadas en la operación de la tuneladora (mantenimiento, topografía, calidad, prevención y subcontratas).

• Planificar y optimizar los recursos humanos, materiales y técnicos necesarios para garantizar los rendimientos previstos.

• Supervisar el avance de la tuneladora, analizando indicadores de producción e implantando medidas correctoras cuando sea necesario.

• Gestionar incidencias técnicas y operativas relacionadas con la TBM y proponer soluciones para minimizar su impacto en la obra.

• Actuar como interlocutor principal en la gestión diaria del túnel con la Dirección de Obra, Asistencia Técnica y Dirección del Proyecto.

Buscamos un perfil con los siguientes requisitos y competencias:

• Titulación universitaria en Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería de Minas, Ingeniería Industrial o similar.

• Experiencia mínima de 5 a 7 años en obras de túneles con TBM, incluyendo responsabilidades de gestión de equipos y coordinación de la producción.

• Conocimientos avanzados de construcción de túneles mecanizados, operación de TBM, montaje de dovelas y sistemas auxiliares de túnel.

• Experiencia en planificación de obra, control de producción, seguimiento económico y gestión de subcontratas.

• Conocimientos de normativa de seguridad y salud aplicable a obras subterráneas.

• Manejo de herramientas informáticas de gestión y control de obra.
