• Degree in Civil Engineering, Roads, Canals and Ports Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

• More than 10 years of professional experience in the engineering field specializing in hydraulics.

• Verifiable experience in the drafting and/or review of hydraulic projects and/or the management or supervision of hydraulic works.

• Experience in project management and direction.

• Ability to coordinate and manage technical teams.

• Organized, systematic profile oriented towards project monitoring.

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking for a Civil Engineer, a Roads Engineer, or a professional with equivalent training to join our Civil Works Division in Barcelona.

The selected person will assume supervision of a contract for the construction of a hydroelectric plant, working mainly from Barcelona and performing periodic visits to the construction site abroad.

They will have a responsible role in the supervision and coordination of the local Site Management team, consisting of 3-4 professionals, while also having the support of a technical team from Barcelona.

We are looking for a senior profile, with a solid and verifiable track record in hydraulic projects, team management capacity, and sufficient experience to assume the liaison and technical supervision of an international project of these characteristics.

• Supervision and coordination for the construction of a hydroelectric plant.

• Supervision and coordination of the local Site Management team.

• Technical monitoring of the works associated with the project.

• Review and monitoring of compliance with the specifications, deadlines, and technical requirements of the contract.

• Supervision of the project's progress and detection of possible deviations.

• Liaison with the different agents involved in the project.

• Participation in technical and monitoring meetings with the client and local teams.

• Carrying out periodic visits to the construction site abroad.

• Support in the management and resolution of technical incidents during the execution of the project.
