Scope of responsibility
· Villafranca Campus, where SEK El Castillo International School, Universidad Camilo José Cela, and SEK Guadarrama Sports Club coexist.

General services and maintenance
· Direct the daily operation of maintenance and general services, ensuring continuity of activity and a proportionate response to incidents.
· Design and implement a preventive maintenance plan by installation, equipment, and criticality, including a schedule, responsible parties, costs, and evidence of execution.
· Organize and supervise corrective maintenance, prioritizing incidents according to their impact on safety, regulatory compliance, academic activity, and user experience.
· Manage facilities and associated services, including, among others, HVAC, electricity, plumbing, fire protection, elevators, gardening, cleaning, waste, access control, and minor works.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory inspections, licenses, maintenance contracts, and risk prevention requirements, in coordination with specialist areas.
· Ensure compliance with applicable technical regulations, including RITE, REBT, RIPCI, CTE, and other mandatory provisions and inspections, promoting necessary corrective measures to preserve the legality and safety of the facilities.
· Prepare and control the annual maintenance and general services budget; analyze deviations and propose efficiency measures without compromising safety or service quality.
· Control the annual General Services budget for UCJC and collaborate with SEK schools in preparing their budgets, applying homogeneous and comparable criteria.
· Define service levels, indicators, and monitoring routines; maintain an updated technical inventory, incident history, and facility documentation.
· Coordinate and supervise improvement, remodeling, and repair works in collaboration with external architecture services, center managements, and maintenance managers.
· Prepare annual investment budgets, define the technical scope of actions, and request, compare, and evaluate contractor offers, ensuring deadlines, costs, quality, safety, and operational continuity.
Operational services under your direction
· Supervise, through the General Services Manager and operational managers, the concierge, security, and auxiliary services, including weekends, holidays, and events.
· Direct the provision of cleaning services, waste management, contracts and collections, as well as internal courier and mail services.
· Guarantee the adequate planning of pruning, gardening, disinfection, disinsectization, and deratization treatments, and other recurring actions at UCJC and the Sports Club.
· Supervise the technical warehouse, inventory, and the purchase of materials, tools, personal protective equipment, and clothing for maintenance, drivers, and concierge staff.
· Ensure the administrative and technical maintenance of the fleet: inspections, ITV, management services, transport cards, tachographs, and other applicable obligations.
· Coordinate special institutional security and general services needs assigned to you, with due confidentiality, authorization, and budgetary control.
Events and logistics
· Plan with the organizing areas the general services necessary for open days, graduations, meetings, equestrian competitions, sporting activities, and other events.
· Coordinate furniture, assembly, space adaptation, heating or other temporary means, security, and maintenance reinforcements, also outside of regular hours when necessary.
· Organize and control mobility services: UCJC shuttles, VIP transfers, excursions, transport for UCJC and Club events, and support for school transport contracting.
· Review prices, capacity, quality, and route configuration with transport providers, proposing service restructurings when they provide efficiency or improve the user experience.
· Implement prior planning, responsible parties, budgets, security protocols, and subsequent service evaluation for events and transport.
Purchasing and suppliers
· Supervise the Purchasing department, coordinate its team, and establish priorities, procedures, savings objectives, and control mechanisms.
· Lead processes for supplier approval, requests for quotes, negotiation, award, and periodic evaluation, seeking a balance between cost, quality, service, risk, and sustainability.
· Review contracts and spending categories to identify synergies, volume consolidation, supply alternatives, and recurring savings opportunities.
· Negotiate with service and supply providers, including works tenders and contracts for maintenance, energy, auxiliary staff, security, and other relevant categories.
· Supervise the person responsible for the purchase of school supplies and books, ensuring planning, availability, budgetary control, and quality of service to centers and families.
· Coordinate, directly or indirectly, the purchase of maintenance and cleaning materials, chemical and pool products, gardening supplies, first aid kits, furniture, event materials, stationery, consumables, and other departmental needs.
· Develop common purchasing criteria and tools for schools and the university, coordinating with Finance, Legal, and user areas.
Required profile
· University technical training in Engineering, Architecture, Technical Architecture, or an equivalent degree.
· Minimum of five years of experience as a Facility Manager, site manager, or in an equivalent position of integral facility and project management, preferably in educational campuses, universities, sports centers, hospitals, hotels, or corporate complexes.
· Demonstrable experience leading internal operational teams and a wide network of suppliers.
· Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, technical installations, and applicable regulations, especially RITE, REBT, RIPCI, and CTE.
· Experience in works, preparation and control of investment budgets, tenders, negotiation, and management of contracts and suppliers.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; use of CMMS, ERP, and dashboards will be valued.
· Ability to use artificial intelligence tools in a practical and responsible manner for analysis, planning, documentation, and reporting.
· Ability to prepare complete, clear reports oriented toward decision-making, with identification of risks, alternatives, and recommendations.
· Ability to combine field presence, management rigor, and communication with management teams and users.
