About the role

We are looking for a Junior Project Leader R&D Cementitious Products to join the Research and Development team.

The position is aimed at recent graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience or internships who want to grow professionally in industrial R&D, participating in projects involving formulation, testing, and improvement of cementitious products (adhesives, mortars, renders, repair systems).

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead development and reformulation projects for cementitious adhesives, facade mortars, cement-based products, renders, and repair solutions.
  • Develop formulations and manage laboratory testing in accordance with standards (EN 12004, EN 998, EN 1504, etc.).
  • Coordinate industrial trials and scale-up together with production.
  • Analyze raw materials, evaluate suppliers, and propose technical or economic alternatives.
  • Document developments, write technical reports, and product specifications.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in external certifications when applicable (e.g., CE marking, technical assessments).

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • A master's degree in construction materials, cement chemistry, or project management will be valued.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in formulation or development of construction chemical products, preferably cementitious products (adhesives, mortars, monocouche renders, repair systems, self-leveling compounds, etc.).
  • Previous experience managing or participating in the management of technical projects (not necessarily as a Project Leader, but in roles with technical responsibility).

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of additives, cements, mineral fillers, and cement chemistry.
