On-call Hostesses/Hosts with English – International Congress IFEMA Madrid

We are looking for responsible, punctual, and proactive people, with full availability during the days you commit to working as on-call staff.

⏰ Approximate initial on-call schedule: 06:30–08:30 h

If you have availability for several days and understand that you must reserve the entire day in case it is necessary to cover an absence, apply! 😊

It is necessary to have a good level of English, as this is an international congress and, in the event of covering an absence, you could be assigned to a position with direct assistance to foreign attendees.

The level of English may be verified during the selection process.

Remuneration will depend on how long you have to remain on call:

• 1 hour on call → €10 gross.
• 2 hours on call → €16 gross in total.

If you ultimately have to cover an absence, you will work the shift corresponding to that position and the hours worked will be paid according to the conditions established for the service.

At Staff Global Group we are looking for on-call stewards with a good level of English for an important international congress that will be held at IFEMA Madrid from October 22nd to 27th.

We need on-call staff mainly from October 22nd to 27th, at an approximate time of 06:30 to 08:30 h.

You can apply even if you do not have availability every day. For example, we will value availability for:

• From October 22nd to 27th.
• From October 23rd to 25th.
• Several consecutive days within October 22nd to 27th.

In the application, we will ask you which specific days you have full availability for the entire working day.

On-call staff are those who remain available to cover possible last-minute sick leaves or absences from the congress team.

Initially, you will have to attend IFEMA in person for 1 or 2 hours first thing in the morning.

If during that time it is not necessary to cover any absence, your on-call service will end.

If, on the contrary, an absence occurs, you will move to occupy the position of the person you are replacing and you will work their full shift.

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT: although initially you only have to attend for 1 or 2 hours in the morning, on the days you work on-call you must have FULL AVAILABILITY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE DAY.

Therefore, on those days you cannot have other work, academic, or personal commitments that prevent you from staying to work if we ultimately need you to cover a position.

It is essential to have the indicated uniform and arrive with it prepared so that you can join a position immediately if necessary.
