What we're looking for

University studies in Business Administration and Management.
English level B2.
Office skills (Excel, Word) are required.
Knowledge and experience with SAP FI.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Administration and Accounting areas.

Nice to have

Experience in large companies or business groups is desirable.
Experience as a manager or coordinator of Accounting Departments is desirable.

What you'll do

Support the Accounting Closing Manager in all tasks related to the accounting close, ensuring the correct recording of operations, the reconciliation of accounts, and the generation of internal and external reports with reliable financial data.

Functions:

· Verify accounting balances of ledger accounts (assets, liabilities, income, and expenses).

· Reconcile bank accounts with statements.

· Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.

· Review of balances.

· Review of advances and provisions.

· Generate and record adjusting entries, such as:

Amortization and depreciation.
Provisions (expenses, taxes, salaries, etc.).
Accruals and deferred income, or accounting reclassifications.

· Verify that all income and expenses for the period are correctly recorded.

· Ensure that each entry has the necessary backup for auditing.

· Assist in the preparation of:

Income statement.
Balance sheet.

· Validate that all operations for the period are recorded.

· Execute monthly/annual closing processes in the accounting system.

· Block closed accounting periods (according to company policies).

BASIC COMPETENCIES

Proactive person, with organizational and communication skills, methodical and analytical, detail-oriented, positive, and oriented toward managing or leading teams.
