What we're looking for

Requirements.

Solid knowledge of advanced data structures, distributed computing, and cloud services. We work mainly with Google Cloud, although experience with AWS, Azure, and Databricks will also be valued.

Experience in Database Administration (DBA) and knowledge of different database models: relational, columnar, document, graph, and vector.

Proficiency in SQL for data processing and analysis, dbt for transformation and modeling, and Elementary to ensure data quality.

Extensive experience developing data pipelines, mainly with Python; knowledge of Scala, R, and Java will also be valued.

Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming, as well as API-first architectures.

Experience with tools for extraction, ingestion, and processing of large volumes of data (ETL/ELT), both in real-time and in batches.

Experience developing Machine Learning models for production, applied AI solutions, agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, and observability platforms such as Langfuse.

Experience with DevOps methodologies and AI-assisted development, using tools such as Terraform and GitHub (Actions and Copilot).

Knowledge of digital product development principles and validated learning methodologies for continuous improvement.

Experience working with agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices, such as Agile and Shape Up, in multidisciplinary, self-managed, and multicultural teams.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Software Engineer.
