Experience

Technician with more than 1 year of experience in security and more than 2 years in network and/or systems projects.

Knowledge of perimeter security environments.

Technical knowledge of systems and network security, authentication, security protocols, cryptography, and application security.

Knowledge of web and network protocols.

Basic knowledge of different vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint.

Knowledge of IPsec VPN setups.

Technical knowledge

Experience with different vendors will be positively valued: Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco...

Education

Any of the following training will be valued:

First-level security certifications in technologies used at the Client Entity (CCSA or equivalent).

Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP).

Required: Written and spoken English, B2 or equivalent level.

In the MSS Device Management unit at Telefónica Cybersecurity & Tech, we provide perimeter security device management services, handling all customer requests and incidents as well as their monitoring.

Your mission will be to join the team that manages perimeter security devices.

Your day-to-day:

Handling the User Support Mailbox, written and spoken English and Spanish.

First point of contact for reactive support.

First point of contact for service requests.

Morning shift from Monday to Sunday, with the possibility of occasional shift work.

Creation of network and security rules and policies on multi-vendor firewalls.

Monitoring health alerts on security devices.

First-level troubleshooting of multi-vendor security devices (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco...)
