Requirements
What we're looking for
- Front-end development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, or equivalents); responsive design.
- Integration and lightweight back-end: REST/GraphQL APIs, Node.js, headless or corporate CMS, version control (Git), and CI/CD automation.
- Web performance, availability, and security: CDN and caching, monitoring, vulnerability management.
- Accessibility, privacy, and consent (GDPR), technical SEO, and digital analytics (tagging, measurement, and A/B testing).
- Agile methodologies and technical management of development providers. High level of English, both oral and written.
Nice to have
- More than 10 years in similar roles involving the development and evolution of high-traffic, high-availability commercial or transactional websites.
- Demonstrable experience as a development technician for a web platform, taking responsibility for its architecture, quality, and production deployment.

You will be in charge of the development, evolution, and maintenance of the Movistar+ commercial website (movistarplus.es), the reference digital channel for offering information, customer acquisition, and strengthening the Movistar+ brand image.
You will act as the platform's internal technical reference, defining the technical solution, developing directly the most critical functionalities and technically leading the external teams responsible for the remaining developments. Likewise, you will guarantee the quality, performance, security, accessibility and availability of the site, ensuring compliance with the deadlines committed to the Business, Marketing and Product areas.
What you'll do
Challenge 1: Development and evolution of the commercial website
Design, develop, and deploy new functionalities and evolutions for movistarplus.es based on Business, Marketing, and Product needs: technical analysis of requirements, estimation and planning, development of the front-end and the integration layer with the CMS, catalog/EPG APIs, and contracting systems, execution of tests, code review, and production deployment through established continuous integration and deployment processes.
Challenge 2: Technical coordination of outsourced teams
Act as the platform development technician towards web development providers: transfer and prioritize the backlog, define the architecture, coding standards, and acceptance criteria, dimension and plan the necessary external capacity, review and validate deliveries (code review, functional and regression testing), and monitor quality, deadlines, and compliance with contracted commitments.
Challenge 3: Ensuring site availability, performance, and security
Guarantee the availability and response times of the website, especially during traffic peaks associated with launches, campaigns, and major events: monitoring, CDN management and caching policies, performance optimization, and incident handling and resolution with subsequent root cause analysis. Ensure compliance with corporate security policies (vulnerability and dependency management) and legal requirements for accessibility (EN 301 549 / WCAG), privacy, and consent (GDPR).
Challenge 4: Architecture, technological evolution, and best practices
Define and keep updated the architecture and technological stack of the website (front-end framework, CMS, integrations, environments, and deployment automation), identifying opportunities for modernization and automation and planning the reduction of technical debt. Establish and ensure compliance with development, documentation, version control, and automated testing standards to ensure the sustainability and scalability of the solution.
Challenge 5: Support for business, analytics, and measurement areas
Provide technical support to Marketing, Product, Communication, and Customer Service in the feasibility analysis of new initiatives, campaigns, and promotions, and in resolving doubts and incidents regarding the channel. Implement and maintain the site's analytical and measurement marking (digital analytics, tagging, technical SEO, and A/B testing), guaranteeing the reliability of the data used for commercial tracking and conversion optimization.
