About the role

What you'll do

  • Design and integrate embedded hardware and firmware for equipment/PLCs/RTUs with industrial buses (Modbus RTU/TCPCAN/CANopen and MQTT/IIoT).
  • Configure and deploy field networks: addressing, topologies, terminations, bus diagnostics and traffic analysis.
  • Develop communication drivers and stacks (C/C++/IEC 61131-3), as well as gateways and protocol converters.
  • Validate in the lab and in the field: functional tests, EMC, thermal stress, compatibility, and reliability.
  • Prepare technical documentation: schematics, bills of materials, manuals, state diagrams, test plans, traceability.
  • Support manufacturing, commissioning and resolution of incidents at customer sites (root cause, 8D, FMEA).
  • Ensure compliance with quality (ISO 9001) and applicable regulations (CE/UL, IEC 61326/61010; functional safety if applicable).
  • Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, quality, and purchasing teams; manage suppliers and certifications.
