Industrial Electronic Engineer

• Degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering.

Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or other related specialties will also be valued.

Complementary training in industrial automation or Industry 4.0 will be valued.

• Minimum of one or two years of experience in industrial projects or environments.
• Knowledge of industrial automation: PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial communication networks or protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical installations and low voltage.
• Knowledge of machinery safety and CE marking.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in the implementation, integration, or commissioning of machinery and production lines.
• Experience in the agri-food sector and in the technical coordination of suppliers will be valued.
• Knowledge of industrial or collaborative robotics will be valuable, but does not constitute an essential requirement.

Industrial Automation and Project Engineer

At TROPS, we are looking to hire an Industrial Electronics Engineer to participate in the development and implementation of industrial projects at our fruit and vegetable processing plant.

We are looking for a person with knowledge of industrial automation to be in charge of coordinating, supervising, and validating the acquisition and integration of machinery, production lines, and facilities. Specialization in robotics or experience in robot manufacturing or programming is not required.

• Define technical specifications to request quotes for machinery, facilities, and production lines.
• Technically analyze and compare supplier proposals.
• Participate in the technical selection and awarding of projects.
• Coordinate the assembly and installation of equipment on-site.
• Supervise the testing, validation, and commissioning of machinery and automated lines.
• Verify compliance with agreed specifications, deadlines, and quality and safety standards.
• Review manuals, electrical diagrams, blueprints, technical documentation, and CE marking.
• Coordinate the integration of new equipment with electrical, industrial refrigeration, compressed air, fire protection, plumbing, and photovoltaic energy installations.
• Supervise work related to automation, industrial communications, and control systems.
• Collaborate on construction, expansion, or improvement projects for industrial warehouses and facilities.
• Coordinate the work of external engineering firms, construction companies, and technical suppliers.
• Monitor planning, milestones, and the final technical acceptance of projects.
