What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Industrial, or similar Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following environments:
Electrical switchgear manufacturing workshops.
Technical warehouses for electrical material.
Electrical material companies.
Electrical switchgear manufacturers or integrators.
Industrial electrical installation companies.
Electrical substation, energy, or industrial sector.

Nice to have

Specific experience in electrical switchgear for substations.
Knowledge of applicable electrical regulations.
Experience in P&L management.
Knowledge of suppliers of electrical material, enclosures, switchgear, protections, automation, and control.
Proficiency in ERP tools, production planning, or project management.
Medium/high level of technical English.

The role

An industrial sector company is looking to hire an electrical switchgear business unit manager for electrical substations with demonstrable experience to work at our facilities in Bilbao.

What you'll do

Commercial development of the business unit and identification of new opportunities.
Maintenance and development of relationships with current and potential clients.
Preparation, analysis, and defense of technical-economic offers.
Negotiation with clients and suppliers.
Coordination with engineering, purchasing, production, and quality.
Organization and planning of workshop production.
Monitoring of the unit's profit and loss account.
Control of costs, margins, planning, quality, and Health and Safety.
Definition and implementation of the business unit's strategic plan.
Proposal of improvements, investments, and resources necessary for the growth of the area.
