System Engineer

As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing tools for task automation, improving data management, optimizing operational response, and reducing manual errors in industrial and digital transformation environments. You will collaborate on technological innovation projects and the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions for Thales.

• Develop software tools to automate manufacturing processes, optimizing metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and YIELD.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (control plans, KPIs, and procedures) for implemented changes.
• Participate in the design of Proofs of Concept (POCs) and in the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Create dashboards to track key metrics and project execution (100% coverage).
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to align software solutions with operational objectives.
• Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities in industrial processes.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Knowledge of software development (languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar).
• Proficiency with databases and analysis tools.
• Basic knowledge of industrial process automation (experience with IoT, PLCs, or SCADA systems is a plus).
• Languages: Fluent level of Spanish and an advanced level of English.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 standards, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to industrial environments.

Como parte del equipo, serás responsable de desarrollar herramientas para la automatización de tareas, mejorando la administración de datos, optimizando la respuesta operativa y reduciendo errores manuales en entornos industriales y de transformación digital. Colaborarás en proyectos de innovación tecnológica y en la implementación de soluciones de Fabricación 4.0 para Thales.

• Desarrollar herramientas de software para automatizar procesos de fabricación, optimizando métricas como OEE, MTBF y YIELD.
• Elaborar y mantener documentación técnica (planes de control, KPIs y procedimientos) para cambios implementados.
• Participar en el diseño de Pruebas de Concepto (POCs) y en la adopción de tecnologías Industria 4.0.
• Crear dashboards para el seguimiento de métricas clave y la ejecución de proyectos (100% cobertura).
• Colaborar con equipos de fabricación, calidad e ingeniería para alinear soluciones de software con objetivos operativos.
• Identificar y proponer oportunidades de mejora continua en procesos industriales.

• Grado en Ingeniería Informática, Telecomunicaciones, Industrial, o similar.
• Conocimientos en desarrollo de software (lenguajes como Python, Java, C#, o similares).
• Manejo de bases de datos y herramientas de análisis.
• Conocimientos básicos en automatización de procesos industriales (valorable experiencia con IoT, PLCs, o sistemas SCADA).
• Idiomas: Nivel fluido de español y nivel alto de inglés.
• Capacidad analítica, atención al detalle y orientación a la mejora continua.

• Experiencia en entornos industriales o de manufactura.
• Conocimientos en metodologías ágiles (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experiencia con herramientas de visualización de datos (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiaridad con estándares de Industria 4.0, Lean Manufacturing, o Six Sigma.
• Conocimientos en ciberseguridad aplicada a entornos industriales.
