Field Service Technician

• Technical education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or technical customer support.
• Demonstrable experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Practical knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supply systems, and PLCs. Essential.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Good knowledge of IT, networks, and PC configuration.
• Proficiency in Spanish and a good level of English (minimum B2). Essential.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Join our TOMRA Food team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a key role in ensuring the correct operation of our innovative food sorting systems.

Our local TOMRA office is located in Valencia and we are always looking for motivated people who want to be part of our organization. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician residing in Madrid, Toledo, Valladolid, Guadalajara or their surrounding areas. 

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated person to provide excellent customer service, participating in commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair activities, mainly in Spain and Portugal.

This position perfectly combines hands-on fieldwork with autonomous problem-solving, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about engineering.

• Perform field service activities, including installation, commissioning, operation, testing, optimization, maintenance, and repair of TOMRA equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical adjustments and configurations.
• Train customers on the use and maintenance of TOMRA systems.
• Provide technical support and advice to help customers maximize the performance of their operations and reduce food waste.
• Prepare accurate service reports and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Work with innovative, industry-leading technology and act as an ambassador for TOMRA.
• Travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within Spain, with occasional international travel as needed.
