Quality Engineer

• Training in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality and industrial environments.
• High level of Excel, SharePoint, and quality platforms.
• English B2-C1; German B2.

As a Quality Engineer, you will manage and coordinate corrective actions, ensuring the correct validation, documentation, and registration of requests in official systems, as well as monitoring their progress. You will coordinate the rework associated with the teams involved, guaranteeing the availability of technical documentation, communication between parties, and the preparation of progress reports.

• Quality assurance of finished products and management of rework to ensure the final product.
• Management and coordination of rework for non-conforming vehicles.
• Documentation of incidents for all client vehicle systems (plant, in yard, and in field).
• Communication with vehicle preparation centers (USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan...) to manage rework.
• Reporting the status of corrective actions to headquarters in Germany and at the plant to Mercedes managers.
• Receipt and verification of the correct completion of the corrective action request.
• Assurance and monitoring of rework for corrective actions where OQV is the driver of coordination.
• Collaboration with the assurance and monitoring of rework for corrective actions where OQV is the driver of coordination at the Vitoria factory (parts requests, managing relevant documentation, and rework coordination).
• Attendance at clarification meetings with the request managers.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00h to 17:00h
