Customer Quality Engineer – Automotive

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
• Project management skills in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge of 5Why, Ishikawa, IS/IS NOT, Risk Assessment.
• Good technical knowledge in the field of mechanical units (engine and transmission), preferably from the automotive sector.
• Good knowledge of office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• B1 driving license essential for traveling to suppliers and other centers.
• High level of English and a medium-advanced level of French is valued.

As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and resolving quality incidents, coordinating cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, performing continuous follow-up until their closure, within the corporate quality area of one of our main automotive customers.

• Identify weak points and deviations, issue alerts, and guarantee the implementation of effective and responsive solutions or customer protection.
• Manage critical and cross-functional matters, ensuring that actions are completed within the deadlines established by the various stakeholders.
• Monitor the resolution deadlines for non-conformities, with a solid and definitive solution for mass production and after-sales service, through management meetings and escalation to the corresponding forums.
• Ensure the capitalization and/or transversal deployment of eradication or improvement solutions for the plants within your scope of action.
• Prepare incident summaries affecting your scope of action.
• Escalate quality problems with a possible after-sales service campaign for the customer.
• Monitor warranty costs affecting your scope of action, with active participation in follow-up meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other areas (manufacturing, logistics, product and process engineering, purchasing, supplier quality, customer quality).
