Project Manager multisite - Building - Canary Islands Area Manager

To be successful in this position, it is essential to provide: 

• Minimum 15 years of solid experience in a similar position.  Proficiency in Office 365/Google Docs, Microsoft Project or equivalent, and Autocad; BIM is a plus.
• Education: Building Engineering / Building Construction Engineering / Architecture / Engineering
• Technical Competencies: Deep knowledge and mastery of the function and its responsibilities, of on-site Health and Safety standards, and of sustainability standards (60h PRL Certification). 
• Languages: Spanish and English at a professional level. 
• Personal Skills: Coordination and planning capacity. High communication capacity with clients and a high capacity to generate impact in achieving objectives through other people. Organized, Meticulous, Problem-solving, and accustomed to working under execution time pressure.
• It will be necessary to have availability to live in the Canary Islands area and maintain travel within the delegation area.

We are looking for a manager for the client's construction management in the Canary Islands territory. In particular, it involves managing bank office renovation projects. The management of each project/work begins in the initial phases of planning, design, and licensing, and ends with the final settlement of the works.

Some of the tasks to be performed are related to:

• Technical and economic management of assigned works.
• Administrative management of construction documentation.
• Control of the licensing and construction schedule.
• Management of suppliers on-site, start dates, and arrival of supplies.
• Economic control of the works. Certifications, invoicing, and project closures.
• Management of the execution control of works on-site.
• Management of construction execution in spaces occupied by clients and third parties, taking special care in managing construction disturbances and all Health and Safety aspects.
• Direct and coordinate all professions, suppliers, and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure coordination between the project author, site and execution directors, the control office, the safety coordinator, and all other stakeholders.
• Work together with the site and execution directors, assuming their directives and providing solutions to their proposals.
• Direct interlocution with the client, guaranteeing the achievement of objectives established for the geographic area in question.

Additionally, the person must participate in and contribute to the Management System through the understanding and implementation of the following aspects:

• Compliance with Quality and Environmental policies.
• Application of the Environmental Best Practices Manual.
• Compliance with global H&S policies and standards.
