What you'll do

Functions:

Execute the CRAI Library processes in accordance with its mission and vision, oriented towards achieving a service with continuous improvements for our users, adapting its lines of action based on the needs and expectations of our users, the changes in the university environment in which it carries out its activities, and institutional lines of action.

· Process the acquisition of all types of bibliographic materials through a correct investment of the budget assigned for making available and disseminating the resources necessary for the development of user activities.

· Process bibliographic materials

· Review and guarantee the correct placement, preservation, and inventory of all collections, ensuring their custody.

· Parameterize, administer, and develop the KOHA LMS, as well as any other technology, tool, and/or digital collection available, including the CRAI Library website, etc.

· Maintain the digital collection, hardware, and software

· Address general or specialized information/documentation requests, both in-person and virtual.

· Organize, facilitate, and promote the use of collections in any format.

· Promote the dissemination and communication of all CRAI Library collections through the different channels and/or tools to increase their use, engaging users.

· Develop training activities to provide knowledge and instruction on the use of available information resources and tools.

· Support teaching activities by facilitating the use of tools and content specialized in their areas of activity. @@

· Support and advise researchers in the handling of the necessary information sources

· Guarantee the placement, preservation, and custody of the collections and the management of inventories.

· Contribute to the development of the CRAI Library as a Resource Center for learning, research, and innovation.

How you'll work
